Ingredients

1/2 a small cauliflower

1 teaspoon of sweet paprika

2 stalks of fresh thyme leaves

Olive oil

Salt & pepper

Air Fryer Cauliflower Steak & Italian Herb Chicken

Method

  1. Using a sharp knife, slice the cauliflower from the base down (approximately 1.5cm thick) – a sharp knife is key to ensure the florets stay intact.
  2. Drizzle the cauliflower steaks in olive oil on both sides and season with paprika, thyme leaves, salt, and pepper. Rub in the olive oil and seasoning.
  3. Place on a sheet of bake paper and cook in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes. (Check after 10 minutes). The cauliflower should still be slightly firm when pierced with a fork.
  4. Alternatively, cook the cauliflower in the oven for 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees.
